Overview

The Philips MCi 900 is a premium audio system designed for audiophiles who demand high-quality sound and innovative features. This system integrates streaming via Wi-Fi and includes an internal hard drive for music storage and playback. The speaker design features a floating tweeter, offering a spacious and immersive listening experience. The MCi 900 was one of the key outcomes of the Pointsource speaker study conducted at Philips, which explored cutting-edge audio technology and design.

 

Key Design Features

• Wi-Fi Streaming & Internal Music Storage
  A versatile system allowing seamless streaming and storage of music, enabling users to access their library without the need for external devices.

• Unique Floating Tweeter Design
  The tweeter’s floating design enhances audio clarity and creates a larger, more immersive soundstage, setting the MCi 900 apart from conventional audio systems.

• Pointsource Speaker Innovation
  Developed as part of the Pointsource speaker study, the MCi 900 represents the next step in Philips’ exploration of innovative speaker designs that prioritize sound accuracy and spatial depth.
