Lytro Cinema

Lytro cinema is a movie camera that uses Light Field Technology.

Light fields would allow you to work in 3D space with virtual apertures to change f-stops and shutter angles and create stereo footage with ease and with only one camera.

I was the industrial designer at Artefact for this project, and I was the only designer on this project.

Lytro planned to build working prototypes for rent for movie makers.

Lytro outsourced the manufacturing to a product development company that I collaborated with to build the prototypes.
