Schnell premium class seat design is a staggered layout premium class seat for BE Aerospace (now Rockwell Collins). 

The biggest design challenge for this project was allowing window seat passenger easy access to their seat. The space between the front row and rear row aisle seats was very narrow, and BE Aerospace was interested to see a great design solution to resolve this issue. 

I was the lead industrial designer for this project, and I worked with Teague's design engineers to design and build the full-size mockup.

Our final solution was to combine front-facing and reverse-facing seats to create sufficient space between the two aisle seats for the window seat passenger to have easy access.
